Adventures in Pediatrics is a pediatric clinic treating children from birth to 18 years old. Our clinic environment has a fun and relaxed feel to make you and your child's experience as positive as possible. Upon arrival, our jungle themed lobby will transport your child into a care-free atmosphere.
Whether it’s a "Meet and Greet" appointment for new parents to be, a sick child, or a routine well child visit, call our friendly staff today and we will work with you to find time for an appointment that will accommodate your schedule.
Adventures in Pediatrics accepts all insurance including Medicaid and Denali Kid Care. We are preferred providers for most major insurances including Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, United and Tricare. Call us at 907.373.7337 to make an appointment.
Open Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday (break for lunch from 1:00 to 2:00)

About Dr. Karen Impson
Pediatrician, Karen Impson, D.O., Wasilla, Alaska
After attending medical school at Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa, Dr. Karen Impson completed her residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit, before moving to Alaska in 1999. While visiting her aunt as a child, she fell in love with Alaska and had always wanted to return ever since.

At Adventures in Pediatrics, we believe that children should not only be seen, but also heard, and we try to make the clinic a fun place for them to visit where they will learn that not all doctors (or doctors offices) have to be scary.
Dr. Impson has been known to do exams under her exam tables or under the counters in order to make the child more comfortable.
